REVIEW : 71846 The Fire Knight Mech

Today I will review this ninjago set. I fell in love with this one the moment I saw the official images and the leaks. I do love a big ninjago mech so I had to have this. I think it's a pretty good set overall and I had a great experience with it overall. I hope this will be helpful for anyone who wants to purchase this set for their collection.

Set : 71846 - The Fire Knight Mech

Theme : Ninjago

Pieces : 996

Minifigures : 2

RRP : $119.99 / €129.99

Pros :

  • It's an amazing build with so many details and great building techniques

  • I love the shaping everywhere, it looks freash in the best way possible

  • The weapon choice is a unique one and I love it.

  • The cape is so cool loking and it gives this mech a very unique style, unlike anything we ever seen in the ninjago line.

  • Great posability all around. Just as good as Coles titan mech which is nice.

  • The sea monster is incredible and the whole base is amazing for displaying it.

  • It can be both played and displayed which I found it great.

  • The minifigures are great especially that exclusive Kai.

  • It also has a cool poster to hang on the wall.

Cons :

  • Just almost all Ninjago sets these days the price is high. The mech is almost a 60-70 $ build so I don't know where all the money is going.

Overall thoughts :

I think this is a great new ninjago set overall. I really love the legends line and I can't wait to see what they are going to come up with for the next waves. The final model looks really cool as a display and you can also play with the mech so easily. I love how posable it is while also looking great in all the places. I just don't really like the price. I feel like Ninjago prices don't make that much sense anymore. I'm glad that I got it on a relatively good discount so I don't mind it but I don't see 130€ worth os stuff right here. A 15-20% discound would be good for this.
