REVIEW : 42649 Heartlake city Candy Shop

Today I'm going to review this friends set. This set is a really special one in my opinion from the new wave because we didn't have a proper candy shop in heartlake city all these years. And the first one is doing a great job. I hope this will be helpful for anyone who wants to purchase this set for their collection.

Pros :

• New and exclusive minidoll and Leo has a new vest! It also comes with his sister Alba.

• Amazing parts usage for representing candy and so many prints for a stacked up candy shop.

• Colourfull parts giving a nice aesthetic for a candy shop

• Unigue style of a friends building, it can be diplayed in different ways thanks to the hinges

• Worth the price for the piece count only

Cons :

• I get why we have the mascots here, but i could live withought them.

Overall thoughts :

I like this set and I don't have any major complaints. I think heartlake city needed a candy shop. The only thing we had, close to one was from the 2021 mall set. It's a nice set for the price, it's definately worth it. It has a major candy aesthetic which is a good thing. Althought i think that last years caffe was much better than this and a greater package.
